Technical Committee

The State Planning Council's Technical Committee is a permanent committee that serves as a forum for RI municipal planners to share challenges and ideas and hear about state and local initiatives that are of importance to the planning community. Membership of the Technical Committee consists of municipal planners from Rhode Island’s urban, suburban, and rural communities, ensuring representation of diverse interests and views. The Assistant Chief of Statewide Planning’s Community Coordination and Outreach team serves as the Committee’s Secretary.
